Job Description:
As a Deputy Program Manager at ManTech, you will play a pivotal
role in supporting high-stakes national security programs by
employing advanced technologies and innovative solutions. Based in
the heart of the U.S. intelligence community and serving
high-profile federal agencies, this role requires strategic
oversight, exceptional leadership, and a nuanced understanding of
both IT and national security imperatives. You will assist the
Program Manager in all facets of program execution, ensuring that
projects meet the rigorous standards required by our clients and
stakeholders. Your expertise in project management and proactive
approach to problem-solving will directly impact the success of
mission-critical programs that safeguard our nation's security.
Assist the Program Manager in strategic planning and execution of
complex IT projects. Coordinate between project teams and
stakeholders to ensure alignment with program objectives and
timelines. Monitor program scope, schedule, budget, and resources
to address any discrepancies or risks. Implement best practices in
project management and continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare
and present detailed project reports and updates to senior
management and clients. Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure
compliance and quality standards are met. Strong leadership and
team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS
Project, JIRA). Ability to manage complex IT projects and
multi-task effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and
analytical abilities. Project Management Professional (PMP)
certification required. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar
agile methodology certification is desirable.
