Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design: Lead the design of data center projects, creating detailed architectural plans that meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Technical Expertise: Provide recommendations on data center infrastructure, including power systems, cooling solutions, network architecture, and security practices.
• Documentation: Oversee project documentation from drawings and specifications to contracts, ensuring quality and alignment with design intent.
• Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, construction, and IT teams to integrate designs with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Project Management Support: Assist project managers with the design phase, ensuring accurate and timely documentation delivery.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct in-depth reviews of design documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Stakeholder Communication: Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to gather requirements, address design-related concerns, and provide updates.
• Business Development: Support business development and sales initiatives as directed by the Principal.Recommended Experience and Education:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or certifications in data center design/project management is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of architectural design experience, with at least 3-5 years focused on data center projects.
  • Licensure: Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
  • Project Experience: Proven track record managing complex data center projects, including design development, construction documentation, and project coordination.
