Data Analyst to join our team in Chantilly, VAThe position is HybridResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:--- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports--- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets--- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs--- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities--- Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.--- Identify and revise reporting requirements.--- Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.--- Generating reports from single or multiple systems.--- Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.--- Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.--- Training end users on new reports and dashboardsBasic Qualifications:--- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics with 7 years of experienceAdditional 4 years of experience might be substituted in lieu of a degree.--- DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification required (CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+, CND or SSCP)--- DoD 8570 computing environment certification within 6 months of hire--- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst--- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages such as Microsoft reporting services, SQL queries and Service Now reporting--- Strong analytics experience with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy--- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings Preferred Qualifications:--- Currently working toward or hold a certification related to a Data Analyst such as the following:--- Certification of Professional Achievement in Data Sciences--- Certified Analytics Professional--- Cloudera Certified Associate (CCA) Data Analyst--- EMC Proven Professional Data Scientist Associate (EMCDSA)--- IBM Data Science Professional Certificate--- Microsoft Certified Azure Data Scientist Associate--- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Data Management and Analytics--- Open Certified Data Scientist--- SAS Certified Data Scientist Using SAS--- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)--- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings Security Clearance Requirements:--- Active Top Secret clearance adjudicated within the past 6 years.--- Candidate must be open for random CI poly Physical Requirements:--- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%--- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to communicate with co-workers and the customer--- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customersMust be able to exchange accurate information in these situations The projected compensation range for this position is $121,800-$204,100There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role,
