solutions to help hospitals make educated, timely decisions in
important areas such as physician alignment, revenue cycle,
population health, and clinical operations. We pair our technology
with dedicated implementation support and collaborative cohort

more than 60% of U.S. inpatient admissions flow through our
technology platforms, which log more than 1.6 million user sessions
annually.The Strategic Solutions Advisor partners with client
organizations and ensures their clients generate significant value
from their partnership with Optum. After the Strategic Solutions
Advisor defines the specific needs and goals of each of their
clients, they will work to customize the toolset and to transform
hospital data into easy-to-use dashboards, reports and ad-hoc
analyses.Our analytic solutions paired with analytic support help
health systems thrive under value-based payment by focusing on
three constituencies critical to hospital performance: revenue
cycle management, reducing care variation, and hospital growth
strategy.This opportunity is based ideally in Washington, D.C, or
remote considered.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely *
from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough
challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive Value through Analytics
- Analyze institutions' operational, clinical, and/or financial
performance
- Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and drive change
management initiatives
- Master the functionality of the performance technology software
and develop deep expertise in product and terrain
- Client Service
- Provide on-site and off-site assessments and consulting
services for a portfolio of clients
- Present to senior level clients and foster relationships with
client executive teams
- Maintain and share business and technical expertise with
clients and internal stakeholders, keeping clients' interest top of
mind
- Train clients on the use of performance technology software,
ensuring clear impact and demonstrable returns for clients
- Project Management
- Proactively identify potential issues that will impede success
and recommend corrective action plans
- Partner with Client Management team to help drive renewals of
membership programs
- Set and execute against project milestones, delivering high
quality results based on the needs of each projectYou'll be

you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of experience in at least 3 of the following:
- Client management experience
- Project management experience
- Experience working in the health care industry
- Consulting experience
- Experience presenting to senior executive level audience
- Demonstrable analytical reasoning or quantitative analysis
- Experience facilitating training sessions
- Ability to travel 25% domestically (when travel resumes, varies
by product)Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in health, technology, or
administrative policies
- Experience owning client relationships through the entire
lifecycle, and proactively identifying and mitigating client
risk
- Experience working in health informatics
- Experience working in healthcare industry
- Experience manipulating large data sets with Excel
- Experience using PowerPoint to create client deliverables
- Hospital administration experience (e.g. fellowships,
residencies, fulltime employment)
- Demonstrated experience using SaaS or workflow products
- Proven ability to possess analytical reasoning and
solution-focused problem solving
- Proven ability to prioritize across multiple projects and
relationships
- Proven ability to manage projects independently
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a teamSoft Skills:
- Experience with solution-focused problem solving and thinking
through problems creatively
- Comfort with a fast-paced work environment and working
autonomously
- Comfort with ambiguity and a desire to innovate*All
Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's
Telecommuter Policy.The salary range for this role is $71,600to
$140,600annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on
several factors including but not limited to local labor markets,
education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group
