Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality inspector in ASHBURN, VA.

As a Quality inspector, you will:
Responsible for in-process and incoming inspection of composite parts and machined parts; in-process inspection of product in flow; and final inspection of completed products and documentation to verify conformance to standards, specifications, drawings, and other requirements.
Responsible for performing inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications.
Interprets manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in process or final assemblies.
Reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies.


This is a 6-12-months full time contract with possible extensions opportunity.

This position requires Active Secret Clearance

The ideal candidate will have:
High School
Fundamental understanding of quality philosophies, principles, systems, methods, tools, standards
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Good computer skills, proficient in MS Office
Good interpersonal and teaming skills
The ability to work independently and with little direction
Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment
Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation)

Nice-To- Haves:
Experience receiving/inspecting parts and assemblies highly desired.
Experience in defense/government program Quality Assurance and manufacturing
Past inspection of military or aerospace products experience
Existing DoD clearance with current 5-year update or CE.


Pay Range: $24.00-$31.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
