Job Description:

St. Mark School, located in Catonsville, Maryland, is seeking an energetic, dedicated individual to assist the principal in the day-to-day operations of the school beginning July 1, 2023. This full time, 12 month position includes supervision and support of faculty and staff, as well as assistance to students and families. The Assistant Principal works in collaboration with the pastor and principal to maintain the Catholic identity of the school. Job Responsibilities:

• Provides instructional leadership, in concert with the principal, for the
• implementation of the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Baltimore
• Assists the principal in ensuring the Catholic identity of the school.
• Assists the principal in the supervision and mentoring of faculty and staff
• Supports faculty in the supervision of students and administration of the school's Code of Conduct
• Provides for changes in daily schedules and programs to meet the needs of individual students.
• Communicates effectively with students, staff, administrative and supervisory personnel, parents, and community.
• Employment is contingent upon acceptable results of a state and federal background check, completion of VIRTUS Training, and completion of all necessary paperwork.Qualifications:
  • Practicing Catholic preferred with a demonstrated commitment to the mission of Catholic education, and at least 3 years teaching in Catholic Schools.
  • Masters degree from an accredited institution in educational administration,supervision, curriculum development, or education
  • MSDE Certification (ADMIN I/II)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be comfortable with technology including GSuite, Google Classroom, and Power School
