2023 Central Maryland Summer InternThe Opportunity: Are you fascinated by High Performance Computing (HPC) systems? As a Junior Data Scientist and Researcher, you will work with our highly collaborative team of researchers to investigate the performance of low-level HPC communication transport libraries, including libfabric, compared to high-level communication libraries, such as MPI and SHMEM.You will design a set of microbenchmarks for mission relevance, using both low- and high-level communication libraries.You will design experiments to evaluate the performance overhead of the high-level communication libraries and document your results.Work with us as we use data science for good.Join us. • Experience with conducting research
• Knowledge of Object-oriented programming languages, including Python and C++
• Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts
• Ability to work independently and in teams

The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD).
