Job Title: REMOTE Acquisition Specialist
Job Location: REMOTE - with occasional travel to Springfield, VA
Salary: Up to $125k depending on experience

Job Summary:
Come join our team! We currently have an exciting Permanent (Direct) opportunity for a REMOTE Acquisition Specialist with prior work experience within DHS and/or TSA and certified in (FAC-P/PM) Level I, II, or above (Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers).
Job Description:
The Specialist shall assist with establishing and documenting organizational processes and templates, to institutionalize processes and products related to RHPED (Requirements, Human Performance and Engineering Division) activities
These processes shall assist in standardizing program and project interactions and implementing the requirements generation and management portions of the AD-102 process
Implement Case Study Process by making a deep dive into a capability gap or set of related capability gaps to establish the full breadth of the capability gap, determine the feasibility of closing the capability gaps without a new "M" materiel solution
Identify potential courses of action to help close the capability gap, conduct a detailed analysis, and determine the recommended course(s) of action to pursue
The Specialist will support the development of Non-Materiel Change Request (NMCR) for the Requirements Development Branch
Support Program Managers with program management oversight efforts using tools such as Microsoft Project, Access and Excel and follow the policies, and procedures established by the client
The Specialist shall assist TSA with managing the activities required by the DHS Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF) to establish an acquisition program and effectively handoff to TSA's Acquisition Program Management (APM)
Prepare and support Ad Hoc Status Report for projects of interest to Senior Leadership
Conducting capability gap analysis, and developing Joint Requirements Council (JRC) approved requirements, ensuring an acquisition program is successfully established
Prepare a weekly report on the status of the branches development of the DHS required requirements documents (CASP, CAR, MNS, CONOPS, ORD, AOA, CDP, and NMCR)
Requirements:
Must be certified in - (FAC-P/PM) Level I, II, or above ( Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers)
Must have experience with DHS Acquisition lifecycle.
Experience using the TSA contract writing system
7 years of experience in Acquisition Program Management
Experience working in a government contracting environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly detail focused
Excellent organization skills
Able to work independently
General Comments
Education:
BA/BS degree required
Note:
Must be a US citizen -and able to obtain a TSA Suitability clearance and DOD Secret Clearance
