We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an
Ensures continued licensure and certification of Continuing
Manages the overall operations of Continuing Care while meeting,
or exceeding, federal, state, and local, regulations and the
facility’s quality and service standard.
Managing occupancy development of Extended Care; actively
markets the continuum of care by networking in the local community
with residents, families, discharge planners, social service
workers, local business organizations and other referral
Directing and evaluating all operations and staff functions,
i.e., nursing, nutritional services, admissions, building
maintenance services, housekeeping, laundry, administration,
resident services and therapeutic recreation.
Oversees and audits nursing services to ensure high quality
nursing delivery systems.
Responsible for managing all contracted services, i.e., Therapy
Services, Laboratory Services, Pharmacy Services, etc.
Develops and implements a facility-wide resident relations
program to meet residents’ needs and to ensure resident quality and
Directs the safety and loss prevention program; monitors
adherence to safety rules and regulations and takes remedial action
Responsible for the development, implementation and execution of
the Continuing Care quality assessment and assurance program.
Establishes a system to track and record cost; responsible to
maintain accurate and timely control of Continuing Care
Possess broad knowledge of the theory and practice of long term
care administration; possess specialized knowledge of the needs of
the elderly in the long-term care setting.
Willingness and desire to work with the elderly; knowledgeable
in the aging process and the physical, psychological and social
needs of the elderly.
Ability to effectively manage and supervise a diverse employee
work group.Financial Management skills; business acumen;
familiarity with business practice and principles.Current valid
State Administrator license in any of the following states would be
preferred: MD, VA, PA, NJ, MA, NC, FLA, KS, MI, Texas, and CO.
