Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job): Vacuuming all carpeted areas and sweeping and mopping floors, vending areas, public stairwells, elevators, and office spaces.* Maintaining and detailing all public spaces, walkways, offices, dining outlets, bathrooms, and lockers, including employee areas.* Extracting and shampooing public areas, guest rooms, and office carpets.* Completing high and low dusting and polishing.* Collecting trash throughout the guest public spaces and offices across the property.* Moving and rearranging furniture.* Loading and unloading delivery trucks.* Delivering clean/dirty linens to and from floor linen rooms.* Performing heavy or out-of-reach work for housekeepers in guest rooms.* Completing guest request calls.* Assisting guests with luggage.* Performing all other duties as assigned.* Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age or older. This position requires successful completion and passing of the post-offer employment physical exam. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Professional guest service attitude, well-groomed, professional appearance, and self-confidence. Self-motivated and capable of working alone. Ability to understand and communicate instructions, both written and verbal. Experience operating a Scissor Lift, Extractor/Shampooer, High/Low Speed Buffer/Floor Striper, or qualified ability after completing training. Comply with company and department grooming standards and policies. Must have the visual ability to meet our very high cleaning standards. Job Demands: Normal working hours are 8AM-4:30PM, 8:30AM-5PM or 9AM-5:30PM; Monday thru Sunday; working weekends and holidays are required. Adhere to company uniformed dress code. Proper slip resistant footwear to be provided by employee. Considerable walking and pushing/ pulling of linen carts is required. Ability to safely use chemicals in and around the workplace meeting OSHA standards. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, handling, stooping, reaching, lifting and repetitive motions.
