Payments Level: Senior Manager, People Leader Locations: Richmond -
VA, McLean - VA, Plano -TX, or New York - NY. Type: This is a
Hybrid position. In Business Cards and Payments, we’re on a mission
to pave the path for businesses to do more business! In the
BC&P Operating Office, we focus on serving as the operational
engine enabling alignment, velocity, and resilience across the
organization at all levels. The BC&P Operating Office is made
up of 3 pillars: Strategic Operations, Organizational Operations
and Top of House Operations. This particular role sits on our
Organizational Operations team and is responsible for leading part
of the Well Managed Team. As the Sr. Manager of the Well Managed
Team, you’ll be responsible for leading our horizontal support
functions, primarily focused controls, automation, and processes.
Sr. Managers in Risk Management have a natural passion for managing
risk with excellent project, process and analytical skills. They
are highly motivated Risk Management professionals with excellent
organizational, leadership and communication skills with a high
level of exposure to executives across lines of business.
Successful Sr. Managers will create and implement innovative
solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the company.
With these skills, they serve as change agents to effectively
challenge business leaders on our highest profile risk projects.
Responsibilities: Provide expert knowledge of enterprise risk
management and operational risk management frameworks and functions
to lead program design and implementation Creates a highly
collaborative environment with business teams, risk teams, and
various partner groups to create an integrated and seamless
experience for the business Deliver exceptional People Leadership
to provide coaching, feedback, and strategic advice to team in a
highly dynamic environment Demonstrates independent and adaptive
problem-solving and analysis skills with excellent attention to
detail Demonstrates exceptional executive communication,
collaboration, problem solving and influencing skills across
various levels and divisions within the organization Balances
multiple priorities and adapts quickly based on new information or
circumstances to drive team objectives Is forward-leaning and stays
current on the changing regulatory environment and business
environment to understand the impacts to Capital One’s lines of
business Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military
experience At least 6 years of experience in risk, compliance, or
audit At least 6 years of experience in project management or
governance At least 2 years of people leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications: 8 years of Risk Management, Data
Governance, or Data Management experience 4 years of experience
leading cross-functional initiatives and managing stakeholder
relationships to drive customer-centric outcomes 4 years of
Financial Services experience At this time, Capital One will not

position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for
this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this
salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work
within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One
is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for
part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number
of hours to be regularly worked. Plano, TX: $161,500 - $184,300 for
Sr. Risk Manager McLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Sr. Risk
Manager Richmond, VA: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr. Risk Manager New
York, NY: $193,800 - $221,200 for Sr. Risk Manager Candidates hired
to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range
associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary
amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be
reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also
eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which
may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on
