looking for a dynamic Director, Corporate Travel to oversee the
day-to-day corporate travel program. The ideal candidate will
ensure a seamless, cost-effective and compliant travel experience
for employees. This role is responsible for managing travel
operations, supplier relationships, policy compliance, and traveler
support while driving continuous improvement across the program.
The role includes directing travel policy development, managing
travel suppliers, mitigating risk, optimizing technology platforms,
and partnering with Finance, Events, HR, EHS, Legal, Business
Continuity and Security. This position will also lead collaboration
efforts across Comcast companies to ensure an integrated, efficient
and consistent enterprise-wide travel experience. This role is
based in Philadelphia and requires regular, in?office presence. Job
Description Core Responsibilities Develop and execute a
comprehensive travel strategy aligned with corporate goals. Create
short- and long?term roadmaps for program optimization, cost
management, and sustainability. Deliver executive-level reporting
on travel spend, trends, and policy effectiveness. Design,
implement, and continuously improve corporate travel policies.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and
applicable regulations. Lead sourcing, RFPs, contract negotiations,
and performance management for travel suppliers including airlines,
hotels, and ground transportation providers. Manage day-to-day
relationships with third-party partners. Drive competitive bidding
processes to maximize value, service quality, and traveler
satisfaction. Oversee annual travel budget planning and
forecasting. Identify cost-saving opportunities. Analyze spend data
to inform sourcing strategies and policy decisions. Collaborate
with Corporate Security and Risk teams on traveler tracking.
Implement and oversee travel risk management tools, protocols, and
crisis response procedures. Ensure reliable, real-time
communications during travel disruptions and emergencies. Evaluate
and implement emerging technologies to enhance traveler experience
and optimize operations. Responsible for providing carbon tracking,
reporting and reduction strategies. Facilitate collaboration across
Comcast companies to align travel policies, processes, supplier
strategies and technology platforms. In partnership with the
Executive Director, mentor and develop a high-performing global
travel management team. Foster a culture of service excellence,
accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ability
to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends and during
major events or incidents, to support critical travel operations
and ensure business continuity when needed. Qualifications
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality,
or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 7
years of experience in corporate travel, travel operations, or
related discipline. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the
ability to guide teams or projects; prior people leader experience
preferred. Experience working with vendors and travel programs
preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong organizational and
problem-solving skills. Analytical skills with the ability to
interpret spend data. Effective negotiation and vendor management
capabilities. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
with third-party vendors. Strong written and verbal communication
skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment. Proven experience navigating a complex organization.
The position may travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.
