Works closely with the Store Managers, District Managers, Regional Director and HQ business leaders to enable them to do their best work.Why join our team?

  • Employee Assistance Program/ 24X7 - completely confidentialEssential Job FunctionsThe incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.
    • Provide guidance for Store Management regarding store level Legal and Compliance related issues.
    • Ensure all stores within their assigned Region are utilizing the IPP Corrective Action programs correctly and consistently.
    • Ensure all new hire onboarding is being completed in a timely manner.
    • Work with the Regional Director/District Managers and Store Managers to ensure that IPP Values and Leadership Qualities are taught, modeled and in place within the Region and Stores.
    • Be a sounding board and objective party for the Regional Director/District Manager, and Store Management Team to leverage when making people and business decisions.
    • Provide a safe and objective open door for all Team Members to discuss issues and concerns they may have related to their Region, District, Store, and their roles.
    • Counsel and coach managers on employee relations issues (investigations, involuntary terminations, and performance improvement plans).
    • Reporting and metrics responsibility including; turnover, payroll and ad-hoc
    • Manage unemployment, workers compensation, and leave of absence claims.
    • Partner with Store Support Teams including Benefits, Compensation, Training/Education, Talent acquisition.
    • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, increase employee engagement, morale, change management, and increase productivity and retention.
    • Drive overall HR initiatives such as talent planning, performance reviews, compensation processes, audits, and recognition programs.
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required
      • SHRM or other HR certification preferred
      • At least three years of HRBP or HR Generalist experience
      • Advanced knowledge and application of Human Resources principles, practices and employment law
      • Demonstrated experience in coaching leaders on driving performance and development
      • Human Resources experience in a retail and multi-unit environment preferred
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
      • Experience with ADP Comprehensive Payroll and Performance Modules preferred
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Strong self-awareness

          • This position has no direct reports.Physical Demands
            • Most tasks are performed while seated indoors at a personal computer. Day and overnight domestic travel to the Store Support Center, stores, seminars and/or conferences may be required periodically.
