Job Description Exciting Opportunity for a Gastroenterology

highly skilled and dedicated Gastroenterology Physician to provide

Responsibilities: - Provide specialized gastroenterology procedures
and patient care for adult patients aged 18 and above. - Support
hospital operations with 7-day blocks, including weekends, one week
per month. - Participate in 24-hour call coverage with 10-hour
shifts, primarily day shifts starting at 07:30. - Collaborate with
onsite anesthesiology staff to ensure comprehensive patient
management. - Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation and
patient records. - Maintain adherence to hospital policies and
procedures specific to gastroenterology practice. Required Skills:
- Board Certified or Eligible (BE or BC) in Gastroenterology. -
Valid Pennsylvania medical license. - DEA registration. - Minimum
of 1 year of clinical experience in gastroenterology. - Strong
procedural and clinical skills. - Excellent communication and
patient management abilities. Nice to Have Skills: - Experience
with complex gastrointestinal procedures beyond standard practices.
- Prior hospital-based or inpatient gastroenterology experience. -
Familiarity with hospital EMR systems and multidisciplinary team
collaboration. Preferred Education and Experience: - Medical degree
from an accredited institution. - Active PA medical license and
board certification in gastroenterology. - At least one year of
professional experience in a hospital setting. Other Requirements:
- Availability for credentialing within approximately 90 days;
candidates with clean files will expedite onboarding. - Willingness
to work 10-hour shifts and participate in call rotations. - Travel
reimbursements, licensing, certification, and other applicable
