Job Description:

MedStar Health, a leading not-for-profit healthcare organization, seeks an RN Bilingual Case Manager to join our dedicated team in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia region. This role involves managing patient care in a bilingual setting, ensuring optimal health outcomes by coordinating care, providing patient education, and supporting patient advocacy in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of clinical practices and the ability to manage multiple case loads efficiently while maintaining compassionate communication. Assess patient health problems and needs, developing nursing care plans and maintaining medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and service providers. Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Fluency in English and Spanish. Strong clinical skills with a focus on surgical and medical procedures. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple case loads with attention to detail. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. BLS and ACLS Certification. Certified Case Manager (CCM) preferred but not required.
