MedStar Health seeks a dedicated and skilled Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team within the bustling D.C.-Maryland-Virginia area. As an integral part of our healthcare services, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Our modern facilities are equipped with the latest imaging technology, supporting our commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Working closely with radiologists, you will prepare patients for procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure that high standards of radiographic quality and patient safety are maintained. Operate and maintain all radiographic imaging equipment efficiently. Prepare patients emotionally and physically for diagnostic imaging procedures. Adhere strictly to safety protocols to minimize exposure to radiation. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Assist in the administration of contrast materials under the guidance of radiologists. Proficiency in operating complex imaging equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
