Nurse Practitioner | Hematology and Oncology Location: Washington Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology NP in Washington! We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 72-day assignment in Washington, starting May 6, 2026. This role involves working 8-hour shifts at a cancer center, serving as the sole practitioner on site alongside an oncology RN and a part-time tele-oncologist. You will manage 12-16 patients daily, primarily established cases with some new referrals, and have access to additional support from providers at a main Cancer Center. Responsibilities and Duties Serve as the sole practitioner on site, collaborating with an oncology RN Work alongside a part-time tele-oncologist Access support from providers at the main Cancer Center as needed Manage 12-16 patients per day, allowing 30-minute visits for established patients Treat approximately 50% of patients on active treatment Manage primarily established patients, with some new referrals divided between locations Evaluate new patients after initial physician assessment, or handle new consults if comfortable Additional Information EMR: Cerner Shift duration: 8 hours Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
