Job Description:
MedStar Health seeks a highly skilled Rapid Response (RN) to
join our team, dedicated to providing top-quality, patient-first
health services across our expansive network. This critical role is
key to our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare
services, focusing on immediate patient care in urgent situations.
The chosen candidate will work closely within our healthcare
framework to administer effective and timely solutions in response
to emergent health issues, ensuring the highest standards of care
are continuously upheld. Respond quickly to emergency situations,
providing nursing interventions as necessary. Assess patient health
problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and
maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured,
convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise patients on health
maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
Liaison with doctors, interdisciplinary teams, and patient families
to provide a comprehensive approach to health care. Proven ability
to operate in high-pressure situations Excellent problem-solving
and decision-making skills Strong organizational and communication
skills Capability to handle medical information discreetly
Proficiency in using healthcare software and systems Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certification preferred
