find a qualified Radiology MD in Oregon! About The Position
Opportunity Details Medicus has an opportunity available for a
locum Breast Imager at a hospital-based Breast Center in Western
Oregon. This locum opening offers a structured schedule and a
supportive environment dedicated to patient care. Opening Details:
- Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday. - Trauma Level: 4 (No ER
volume). - Patient Demographic: Adult patients. - Focus: Dedicated
Breast Imaging role-no general radiology duties. - Facilities: -
Location 1: 1 mammography room, 2 ultrasound rooms. - Imaging
Center: 1 mammography room, 1 ultrasound room (only screening exams
performed). - Team: - 250 radiologists in the practice, with the
Breast Imager serving as the on-site physician. - Support staff
includes 2 daytime ultrasound techs, 1 mammography tech, and 1
breast navigator. - Role Support: Breast navigator assists in
stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and coordinates
follow-up care for mammography patients. - Technology: Powerscribe
dictation into EPIC with EPIC Mammography reporting. - Must be
board-certified - Paid travel & expenses This is an excellent
