The school has prepared almost 12,000 graduates to lead fulfilling and productive lives and is expanding to serve more students in the coming years.MHS is seeking a Per-diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join an amazing team at our Health Center. The CNA/CMA assists the registered school nurses to provide high quality health care to MHS students in a 40-bed Health Center and in the 3 school-based clinics for ill, injured, or postoperative students, as well as mental wellness services. The care services include assisting with admissions & discharge procedures of students, as well as transporting and accompanying students to and from medical appointments off-campus including emergency room visits. The CNA/CMA must always maintain confidentiality and personal and professional accountability while striving to provide high quality health care and programs that are 'child-centered' consistent with the schools mission and the Student Health Services program.The current need is to work a minimum of 5 hours per week (current need hours between: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) and two 8-hour weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduling period. Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour. Part-time employees are eligible for a retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program (EAP), free lunches when on duty, and Hershey area discounts.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent, required.Valid current certification from a state approved Nursing or Medical Assistant training program or equivalent required.Minimum of 1 year of experience as certified nursing assistant or medical assistant, required.Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
