Job Description:
Responsible for assessing patients, developing care plans, and
delivering quality nursing care to diverse patient populations
including pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups. Provides
supervision and guidance to LVNs, LPNs, nursing assistants, and
clerical staff, potentially serving as charge nurse. Develops,
reviews, and updates nursing care plans; implements and evaluates
interventions to meet patient needs. Educates patients and
families, evaluates teaching effectiveness, and acts as a preceptor
for new staff and students. Ensures effective communication,
maintains patient confidentiality, and reports patient status
accurately. Utilizes critical thinking and evidence-based practices
to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant care. Coordinates patient
throughput, manages unit operations, and promotes a safe
environment adhering to regulations. Follows clinical policies,
maintains documentation integrity, and ensures equipment safety.
Requires BSN preferred, RN license, BLS certification, and 6 months
to 1 year of experience.
