Job Description:
A busy hospital in Saginaw is seeking a board-certified
anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage from May ongoing. The
role involves supervision only, with no hands-on duties, and
requires call coverage at two campuses. One campus handles 220-230
adult heart cases, heads, ortho, vascular, GI, neuro, and Level 2
trauma cases; the other focuses on urology, pediatrics, neonates,
plastics, OB (around 3,200 deliveries annually), general surgery,
with no VBACs. CRNAs are in-house 24/7, with physician call at 1:4
or 1:5, depending on the site, including weekend rotations. Call
involves a 30-minute response time at Cooper and in-house coverage
from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. at Harrison, with post-call days off. No
prescriptive authority required, and the position does not involve
government work.
