This is a working manager role, think player-coach. This is in the field of healthcare and you will work under a very smart leader who has been with the company for over 15 years. The Manager, Accounting will oversee the work of finance and accounting team members, maintain cash flow projections and management of cash balances, maintain revenue schedules for clinical grants for related business units, be a finance contact for vendors, internal partners, and educational partners, prepare month-end reconciliations and journal entries, track revenue milestones for sales bonus plans and record month-end accrual, serve as a finance lead with supports teams for Workday, and perform analysis of processes and financial activities looking for areas of savings opportunities and increased efficiencies. You will also be responsible for various aspects of internal reporting throughout the monthly close. Your responsibilities will include:- Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant- Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses- Encourage and manage the full accounting team performance so that close deadlines are met- Team up with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook- Possessing a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable- Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes designing systems and processes, migrating data, testing, training, and administrating- Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processesOur client offers a comprehensive compensation and total benefit package!PLEASE APPLY IMMEDIATELY TO THIS ADD, OR TO BRIAN LEBRIGHT ON LInkedIn TO BE CONSIDERED.
