Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: CACI is
seeking a Senior Electrical Technician to support facilities
projects at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division
(NSWCCD) in Bethesda, MD. The Senior Electrical Technician will
perform a variety of tasks depending on the needs of the day.
Typical work includes reviewing the daily schedule and any reported
electrical issues in their areas of responsibility, performing
scheduled maintenance on an electrical switchboard, troubleshooting
a faulty circuit breaker in a research lab, and assisting with the
installation of a new UPS system and documenting all activities and
findings along the way. The Senior Electrical Technician is also
available to respond to any emergency electrical issues that might
arise. Responsibilities: Provide advanced electrical maintenance,
troubleshooting, and repair of critical infrastructure systems
supporting research and development activities. Perform
preventative and predictive maintenance on power distribution
systems, generators, transfer switches, UPS systems, and other
essential electrical equipment. Install, modify, and test
electrical systems and components according to blueprints,
schematics, and technical manuals while adhering to strict safety
protocols. Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and outages,
diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions to minimize
downtime. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs,
and inspections, ensuring compliance with Navy regulations and
industry standards. Qualifications: Required: Must be a U.S.
Citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security
clearance Journeyman License or equivalent certification Extensive
experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
of high-voltage and low-voltage systems, preferably in a
mission-critical environment. Thorough knowledge of National
Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and other relevant electrical
safety standards. Proven ability to interpret blueprints,
schematics, technical manuals, and specialized equipment to
effectively diagnose and repair complex electrical systems. Strong
understanding of power distribution systems, generators, UPS
systems, and other critical electrical equipment. Desired: Active

the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits
provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required
amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department
of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into
CACI’s government contract for the work location.? Minimum Required
