Job Description:
Join the CarMax team as an Automotive Technician for our 2nd

standards. As an Automotive Technician, you will diagnose and
repair automotive systems, contribute to team efforts, and uphold
safety standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to work
with diverse vehicle makes and models and to advance your skills in
a supportive and technology-driven environment. Perform work
specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in
accordance with dealership standards Diagnose and repair vehicle
automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical,
steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. Communicate
directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if
any additional service is needed Provide labor and time estimates
for additional automotive repairs Continuously learn new technical
information and techniques through formal training sessions in
order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology Inspect and
test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can
be made Strong automotive repair skills in various car systems and
diagnostics Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with
strong problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
401k ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) preferred
Valid driver’s license
