Job Description Job Description CNC Machine Operator (Vertical
Mill) Pay: $20-25/hr. 15% for 2nd or 3rd Shift Shift: 2nd = Mon -
Thu (1pm - 11pm) Ability to train on 1st shift (Mon - Fri - 7am to
3pm) Description: We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to set-up
and run the Vertical Mill for a high-tech metal fabrication shop in
Hanover, PA. Qualifications: 1-3 years of proven experience working
in a metal shop manufacturing environment. 1 years experience as a
CNC Operator and ability to set-up and operate a vertical mill CNC
Machine. Exposure to Gibbscam or Solidcam is a plus (not required)
Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced, team
environment Ability to make decisions Job Duties: Must be capable
of utilizing common measurement devices to check part compliance to
specifications and read blueprints. Must be able to read drawings,
including GD&T. Must be able to read micrometers, calipers, and
other inspection devices. Must be able to check parts for accuracy
and quality against supplied drawings. Provides input to
programmers on better ways to produce parts. Responsible for
production of multiple machines Responsible for daily housekeeping
of the work area including chip removal and machine internal
cleanouts. Assist with machine preventative maintenance as needed.
