The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Network Monitoring Tools (NMT) Engineer responsible for supporting the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of Network Monitoring Tools. The NMT Engineer manages network fault, performance, and configuration management, including alerting and reporting for the DHS HSEN network infrastructure. Responsibilities include user account management, reporting, and supporting various projects in collaboration with Tier 1, Program Support, Government Watch Officer, and Tier 3 Operations Teams.
The work location is the Nebraska Ave Complex (NAC) in Washington, DC, with telework authorized. Candidates must reside in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area and be able to commute to NAC if needed.
Responsibilities:

• Become a SME for tools such as ScienceLogic, CyberArk, TACACS, RestorePoint, VOSS, Verisign, Akamai, Cloudflare, Infoblox, NIOS, NIMS, CISCO routers, and Net Scout.
  
• Provide setup, support, troubleshooting, guidance, and training for supported tools and infrastructure.
  
• Collaborate across development, operations, and security teams to solve technical challenges and mentor staff.
  
• Enhance and implement new tools for system delivery and reporting.
  
• Work with management to translate project scope into effective processes.
  
• Understand various circuit types and installation requirements.
  
• Maintain a strong understanding of IPv4 and IPv6, DMVPN, VLAN trunking.
  
• Provide solutions to complex network management problems.
  
• Experience with DNS, Cisco IOS, ScienceLogic, RestorePoint, VOSS, Spectrum, and network administration.
  
• Understand SDLC methodologies.
  
• Manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  
• Have SME experience with tools like RestorePoint, ScienceLogic, VOSS, CyberArk, INFOBLOX, CISCO ISE, NetScout.
  
• Familiarity with NMT tools such as Solarwinds, Axonius, Dynatrace, Splunk, Spectrum, HPNA, CAPM.
  
• Design and manage ServiceNow workflows and CMDB.
  
  Qualifications:
  Required:
  

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent + 5 years of related experience.
  
• Experience with network tools, maintenance, and automation.
  
• Experience in a Network Operations Center environment.
  
• Knowledge of DNS, Cisco IOS, Spectrum, ScienceLogic, Infoblox, Cloudflare, Akamai, VPN, and network admin.
  
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DHS security clearance.

  • Certifications such as Network+, ITIL, CCNA, Security+, Azure Fundamentals, Project Management (PMP, CAPM, etc.).
