NOSC Infrastructure NMT EngineerJob Category: Information TechnologyTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: NoneEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: LocalThe Opportunity:CCI is seeking a Network Monitoring Tools (NMT) Engineer responsible for supporting the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of Network Monitoring Tools. The engineer will handle network fault management, performance, and configuration management, including alerting and reporting for the DHS HSEN network infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing user accounts, generating reports, and supporting various projects as defined by the program. The role requires close collaboration with Tier 1, Program Support, Government Watch Officer, and Tier 3 Operations Teams.The work location is the Nebraska Ave Complex (NAC) in Washington, DC, with telework authorized. Candidates must reside in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area and be able to commute to NAC if needed.Responsibilities:

• Become a subject-matter expert (SME) on tools and applications including ServiceNow, ScienceLogic, CyberArk, TACACS, RestorePoint, VOSS, Verisign, Akamai, Cloudflare, Infoblox, NIOS, NIMS, CISCO routers, and Net Scout.
• Provide setup, configuration, support, troubleshooting, guidance, and training for supported tools and infrastructure.
• Collaborate across development, operations, and security teams to solve technical challenges and provide mentorship.
• Enhance and implement new tools for system integration and reporting.
• Work with management to understand project scope and translate into effective processes.
• Maintain familiarity with circuit types and installation requirements.
• Have a strong understanding of IPv4 and IPv6, DMVPN tunneling, VLAN trunking.
• Provide solutions to complex network management problems.
• Experience with DNS, Cisco IOS, ScienceLogic, RestorePoint, VOSS, Spectrum, and network administration.
• Understand SDLC methodologies.
• Manage multiple activities concurrently.
• Possess SME experience with tools like RestorePoint, ScienceLogic, VOSS, CyberArk, Infoblox, CISCO ISE, NetScout.
• Familiarity with NMT tools like Solarwinds, Axonius, Dynatrace, Splunk, Spectrum, HPNA, CAPM.
• Experience with ServiceNow design and CMDB management.Qualifications:Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience with network tools development, maintenance, and automation.
  • Experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC).
  • Experience with DNS, Cisco IOS, Spectrum, ScienceLogic, Infoblox, Cloudflare, Akamai, HPNA, VPN, and network administration.
  • US citizenship and ability to secure DHS security clearance.Desired:
    • Certifications like Network+, ITIL Foundations, CCNA, Security+, Azure Fundamentals.
    • Experience with DHS HSEN.
    • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple projects under high pressure.
