Job Description:

regulations. The Global Trade Organization (GTO) is seeking a
highly motivated, detail-oriented candidate to join the team as a
Global Trade Intern. The GTO team manages the complexities of
global trade regulations, including export controls, sanctions, and
customs requirements, to support Leidos’ global business
operations. This team is also responsible for implementing and
maintaining Leidos’ global trade policies, programs, applications,
and tools, as well as supporting efforts as the company expands
into new international markets. This internship provides the
opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside
experienced global trade professionals while contributing to
compliance activities and special projects that support the
company’s international business activities. The Global Trade
Intern will assist with daily operations and strategic initiatives
by supporting key global trade compliance activities. Primary
Responsibilities: Assist in implementing and maintaining export and
import compliance controls in accordance with ITAR, EAR, U.S.
Customs regulations, sanctions programs, and other applicable trade
laws. Assist in the preparation and organization of export license
applications, regulatory submissions, and internal approval
documentation. Assist with export control classification reviews
and tracking, as well as restricted party screening documentation
and recordkeeping. Conduct research on U.S. and international trade
regulations and support responses to internal Global Trade
inquiries. Monitor regulatory developments and assist in
summarizing potential impacts on company operations and internal
guidance materials. Provide support for compliance metrics,
reporting, and process performance tracking. Assist with
documentation and research related to internal reviews,
investigations, or voluntary disclosures, as appropriate and under
supervision. Support the organization and improvement of historical
records and technical documentation. Contribute to the development
and updating of training materials, reference guides, and awareness
resources related to export controls and trade compliance. Basic
Qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an
accredited institution. Demonstrated interest in international
trade control laws and regulations, such as export controls,
sanctions, customs, or similar regulatory environments. Interest in
working within a defense, aerospace, or government contracting
environment. Strong research, analytical, and organizational
skills. Strong written communication skills and ability to present
research findings clearly. Ability to manage multiple priorities,
meet deadlines, and adapt and respond quickly to changing
circumstances. Ability to quickly learn and utilize new systems as
needed. Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and
as part of a team. Ability to collaborate effectively with
cross-functional teams. Innovative mindset with the ability to
enhance existing processes and solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft
Office, such as Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint. What the Intern

Range: Pay Range $41,600.00 - $75,200.00 The Leidos pay range for
this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of
compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending

job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as
well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable
