Job Description Job Description The Finance Intern assists with
various tasks that support the organization’s financial operations.
They help prepare and analyze financial reports, maintain accurate
records, and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. The
intern may also work on reconciliations, data entry, and research
to support audits or financial planning. This role provides
hands-on experience applying accounting and finance principles
learned in coursework, strengthening technical and analytical
skills in a professional setting. The internship is expected to
begin June 2026 and will run through August 2026. This is an hourly
position working up to 25 hours per week. ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES Assists with preparation of audit workpapers and
journal entries for various accounts including: payroll accruals,
benefit allocations, travel-related accounts, and internal
chargebacks. Assists with bank reconciliations. Assists with
account reconciliations. Assists with accounts receivable. Creates
and enters general ledger journal entries. Assists with the
preparation of board-related financial reports. Assists with the
implementation of the board-approved budget through the Bar’s BI
software. Assists with the monthly variance analysis reporting.
Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Year 1
college-level accounting or finance coursework. Basic excel skill
level. Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and

and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and customer
service skills. Must work well in a team environment and be able to
interact, including in-person, with Bar members, volunteers,
vendors, the public and Bar employees. Ability to handle and
maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Year 2 college-level accounting or finance
coursework. Intermediate excel skill level. Experience with
Microsoft suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience
with business intelligence software. Please submit resume and
