(the largest Skilled Nursing focused REIT). About the Role We're
looking for a Revenue Analyst to lead our growing Claims Operations
team. You'll report to our Revenue Cycle Management Operations Lead
and help ensure billing for our customers is on-time and accurate.
This is a highly collaborative team with lots of opportunities to
shape the direction of the Claims team and processes along with
partnering with Product to ensure we are building the right tools.
Responsibilities Clean, review, and submit claims for senior living
health providers (specifically assisted living and skilled nursing
/ nursing home providers) Ensure coding and documentation
compliance with CMS and payer-specific requirements Track claim
statuses and remittances Work denials and follow up with unpaid
claims proactively Evaluate insurance operations and identify
efficiency improvements Analyze EOBs and post manual payments
Experience Needed Associate's or bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in billing, claims follow up, and
denial management. Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid
guidelines, managed care plans, and private insurance billing.
Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and communication
skills. Bonus Qualifications Certification in medical
billing/coding (e.g., CPC, CCA) is a plus. Familiarity with
electronic health records (EHR) systems and clearinghouses.
Familiarity with payer portals (Availity, Navinet, Provider One,
PaySpan, etc.) Compensation Range $60,000—$70,000 USD Why Sunbound
